I had a similar item listed about a year ago and took it down to refurbish and redo some items. Features: PLEASE READ! The classroom comes in pieces that can be put together. I did this so that this set can be packed into a smaller box to save on shipping. The box will still be big and hefty with the contents but not half as big as what I had originally offered over a year ago. The Main pieces of the diorama are:All of the furniture, walls and floor are made out of wood and hand painted or stained1) The classroom floor comes in three pieces and can be pieced together in three sizes to fit your preference. Sizes are approximately: middle part is about 12.5 inches and the two edge sides are about 5.5 inches. Total width of the floor is around 2 feet. The floor is 16 inches deep. 2) Back wall fits into the floor piece and is about 12.5 inches wide and 15.5 inches high. The bottom part is stained with a wainscoting effect and the upper part is painted white. The very top of the wall is a cork board piece with a shelf. The blackboard can be written on and is an actual miniature pice of blackboard. 3) 4 Book cases (6 X 9.5) (6 X 12) and two that are (3 X 4)Please note that I am certainly no expert craftsman. I think I did pretty good with these handmade items but they are not museum quality. THE TALLER bookcase is kind of weird in that it was actually two different pieces that I glued together. So the bottom part doesn't match the top part. But I kind of liked the variety in the lines. There are some distressed looking parts but I also left it like this as I felt it was more in character with an old classroom. Certainly you can add some of your special touches to embellish parts of this diorama. You can pick up a chalk pencil at most any craft store and do some writing on the black board. I just could not find mine and wanted to get this auction up. It has been sitting on my kitchen counter for about 6 months--and I would work on it now and then but mostly just enjoyed having it in my living space. 4) Desk (4 X 10) Does not have working drawers in the back but there is an opening if you'd like to have your figure sit at his desk. 5) Stool (2.5 X 2.5 X 3) 6) Small side Table with interior shelves (2 X 4 X 3.5) There are so many items in this classroom diorama offered here I really hesitate on trying to list everything. What you see in the photos is what you will be receiving. I will mention a few items but will probably not be able to list everything. Lots of time involved of making all these items including the research and creation of the printed items. I would call this a labor of love. This box is pretty hefty and I've padded everything as I'd want it done. Please check your options on how you would like this item shipped. I'm selecting ground advantage and Priority mail. I've shipped MANY wooden items before like this--shelves--tables--bookcases--etc. In all the times I've done this only one time did the pieces come apart in the shipping.
