Description: I am selling an 1840 seated liberty 90% silver dime with drapery. This coin is very hard to find in any condition with a mintage of only 377,500 pieces! This coin is worn, though has a clear date, and Liberty's body is vaguely outlined with her arm holding the pole with the cap on it distinguishable. ONE DIME and a couple other letters are clearly showing on the reverse, and part of the wreath can be made out. This coin does not appear to be cleaned in my opinion, though it is the slightest bit bent and has a few hairline scratches. Still, a scarce piece of early American history to add to your collection.
