It is from a circa 1849 Stieler's Hand Atlas, published in Gotha by Justus Perthes, a copy of the title page is included. The map is dated 1833, revised 1846 in the title area. Stieler's Hand Atlas appears in the top right margin. The map is not mounted, matted nor framed being sold as a single map as seen in the first pic. Size: The map area measures approximately 12 by 14 1/2 inches (30x36cm) on a 14 by 17 1/2" page (37x45cm) Condition: Good or better condition, blank on reverse, deckled top edge, printed on heavy cotton paper with strong original hand color outlining as issued. There is wear along the right edge with a couple of very minor edgetears with archival repairs on reverse and some very handling around the margins, otherwise the map image is clean with a nice antique appearance that would frame up well, see the pics.
