Description: 1858 Holy Bible ... Harding's Superfine Edition ... Philadelphia: Jesper Harding & Son. This is the superfine edition that includes some color illustrations mixed in with the standard black and white illustrations. Re-backed using the original boards and original spine leather. Original leather is worn, but is beautifully covered in gold gilt. Has a nice patina to match the time period. Family history entries for the Crane family. Some foxing throughout in places, but not bad. This edition includes the Apocrypha as well. Overall a beautiful and solid Bible! Measures about 12" x 10" and just under 4" thick.
