Description: 1864 New York Medical College Diploma Van Arcken Prize Otto F.A. Jentz. Original diploma/ award certificate from New York Medical College- presented March 9, 1864 to Otto F.A. jentz, who was also one of two recipients that year of the Van Arcken Prize. Ribbon and seal are intact but faded. Diploma is on vellum and measures 13 X 15" It was originally 13 X 16" but has shrunk a little over the years. In the original frame which measures 18 1/4 X 21" Frame is in good shape but has some normal age wear. Diploma is mounted to a board , and isnt attached on the one side due to the shrinkage. Really nice original piece of history from New York Medical College almost 160 years old., issued during the Civil War. Comes as seen in photos free shipping to LOWER 48 STATES ONLY.
