Description: 1875 British Packet Steamer Transatlantic (wrapper only; I do not have the original letter) from Havana to Jarnac, France. On the Reverse: Havana exit marking April 8, 1875 interconnected with a London Receiving Marking on April 28, 1875. Also on the reverse, a blurry French marking that I believe to be the offset (from stacking) of the same marking from the obverse--a French "ANGL. AMB. CALAIS 28 AVRIL 1875" black datestamp. In the lower left of the obverse, the sender's business datestamp dated April 8, 1875." Also on the obverse, a boxed "G. B. 1F 60c" and "19." On the reverse, a strongly struck "JARNAC 29 AVRIL 1875" receiving marking. FREE DOMESTIC SHIPPING!
