Description: 1876 Pennsylvania RR PRR Hand Colored Map Centennial Exposition Steel Engravings Wonderful large hand colored PRR route map measuring about 28" x 14". One the reverse are a collection of outstanding detailed steel engravings of on-train views and track/depot views. Item has published for the US Centennial celebration. This one has some wear and several repairs by a prior owner. There are tears, holes, and thin spots primarily on the original fold lines of this antique map/ad. These have mostly been repaired by an archival paste (clear) on the fold lines on the "engravings" side of the map. Repairs are basically invisible on the map side, and appear a bit "shiny" on the engraving side. Either side is suitable for framing and display. We will call this in good condition notwithstanding the repair spots. Item has several original folds. Will ship folding on bisecting vertical fold in protective mailer. Beautiful art!
