Obverse - Partially broken bottom serifs of N and M in UNUM. Most letters in E PLURIBUS UNUM doubled, especially E, P, and R, and tripled S at top right. Reverse - VAM 31 is considered part of the 7/8 tail feather set, as a 7/0 reverse type. In this specimen, a faint tail feather shows between TF 1 and 3. Die chips around r in trust. Early die state ("EDS") coin without reverse die cracks. Die chip between second A in AMERICA and right star. This is a parallel arrow feather and long nock reverse.
