Description: This is an 1892, according to the paper label, tan top hat with a printed Harrison-Reid paper insert at the crown. The campaign slogan seems to have been "Protect Home Industry". There is a paper tag with "7", which would be the size. The head opening is 22 1/8". In good condition, with no major spots, there are tiny brownish spots scattered around, one tiny moth "nip", to the surface only. The nap has attracted some dust/dirt. The hat could use a re-shape or re-blocking, particularly the brim and crown. There is a pencil scrawl on the paper insert. International bidders might be charged Delivery, Customs, or VAT, in addition to my own shipping charges, once an item has entered your country. Please contact your local customs or post office, before you bid, if you have questions about these charges.
