Nice detail in the Eagle. The date on these coins often wears away fast because it's a raised up part of the design without much protection against wear. As you can see from the picture, the date on this coin is still very nice. Please bid with confidence because I stand behind what I sell. THE BAD NEWS: Maybe Slightly Lightly Cleaned and / or dipped long ago. If you view the coin in just the right lighting at just the right angle you can see some very light hairlines mostly on the reverse. It's not harshly scratched up from this.
