Designed by Scotsman T.E. Colchester, it was originally a 9-hole course, intended mainly for guests at the Fujiya Hotel. In 1935, a further 9 holes were added by designer Shiro Akaboshi.Photographs of the golf course from the 1920s are quite rare.Provenance: extracted from a photograph album compiled by a Western visitor to Japan in the 1920s. key words:
