The U.S. Treasury tried a second paper experiment with the 1935 Series. Printing began March 16,1937 and ended April 28, 1937. The A-B block notes were printed on distinctive paper with a special finish. Later the B-B block was printed with on a different special paper, and a C-B block was later added as the control. All of these notes were delivered and put into circulation in 1937.
