1950s Blue Cotton Floral Side Zip Day Dress Rockabilly Swing Western Rose VTG

Description: For your consideration Vintage 1950s floral print dress with pleated skirt. No pockets. Unlined. Working metal Talon side zipper & hook fastening at back of collar. No tags. Looks handmade. Fabric is medium weight (slightly stiff, not soft) and feels like cotton. The dress must fit over the head. It does not look that small, but I could not get it over the bust or shoulders of my size small mannequin. It has no stretch. Should fit like a modern XS, see measurements below. Pre owned, shows general wear. Overall nice dress. Presents well but does have age discoloration, mainly on the front at collar and bodice. The left sleeve hem at the cuff is untacked in one place so it doesn’t sit correctly. Needs a simple mend. Has not been recently cleaned but I heat steamed.
