Note: The U.S. Mint did not issue COA’s in their proof sets until 1986; so there will be no paperwork in any proof set before 1986. The 1970,1971 & 1972 came in a blue box from the Mint. The 1973 thru 1979 black box sets that come complete with the mint issued flip covers and cardboard packaging. You get the 1980, 1981 &1982 black box sets complete with Mint issued display stands and cardboard boxes. The Mint produced one more blue box in 1983 and it is here. The 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992 &1993 maroon box sets complete with all Mint packaging. In 1994 the Mint converted to the green box sets.
