Description: Up for sale is a 1970-72 Trans Am Shaker. Someone cut the tabs off of it to make it work with the stainless ring clamp for 1973 - 1976. (One of the pictures is showing the remains of the tabs) This is for a Pontiac 400 & 455 engine. This was a brand new over the counter GM NOS part at one point that someone used for a little while. It is used and in nice original shape in my opinion. Original seal has some cuts on it but it is still a factory shaker seal. Does have some light nicks and scratches in the paint and a little glue in the one corner. This shaker even has the original cross bar for the solenoids and flapper door for 1970-1972 applications. Use this shaker with a 70-72 Firebird dual snorkel base and the stainless clamp ring and you will be ready to go. Or source yourself some tabs and put it back to original. It works either way. This part does need to be sanded and painted to be a perfect piece for your show car. PLEASE, see pictures and judge condition for yourself.
