Item(s) for sale/auction:1980-81 Topps basketball lot of 1000+ SUPER HIGH GRADE CARDS and 26 posters that are high gradeaverage condition of the 1000+ cards: corners and edges alone are NM/MT condition. I sifted through the entire lot and found one card with a frayed edge and one card with a tiny dent and removed both. All of these cards should average NM/MT condition without regards to centering. There is a huge mix of excellent centering 55/45 or better to off center a lot. Most cards would probably be around 70/30 on the front. Very few cards have wax stains, hardly any. Saw no gum stains on the backs of any cards. I didn't see any dents, bends, scratching of the surface and so on. All cards are fully attached at the perforations on each card.I RATE THE AVERAGE CONDITION OF ALL THE CARDS NM+ TO NM/MT.NOTE: I marked the quantity as 1000, but there's more cards than that and 26 posters in addition.ADDITIONAL NOTE: I bought ALL of these cards from New England Sports Cards and I do not exagerate condition. These none-Larry Bird and non-Magic Johnson commons in general have NM/MT corners alone. Surface nice on almost everyone accept for the tiny percentage that have wax stains on the front (obverse). I'm taking a financial loss on the buy-it-now price and not a "best offer" that is less. Hundreds of dollars. I'm not taking some ridiculously low price like $300.00 US dollars or $500.00 US dollars. Please, these cards are really all that in general if you buy them and get them in the mail. For real, really high grade in general. Centering varies A LOT. You'll at least get "some" cards that are at least 65/35 at worst centering on the front, which is real decent for that time period and you know it if you know a lot about this set, manufacturing process, sheet cutting, quality assurance (sucked! Comparatively at the time) and the likes. Larry Bird leader card: Solid NM/MT 8.0 PSA gradeable card. No dents, no bends, no wax or gum stains, pristine condition but not perfectly centerred. Magic Johnson leader card: Same thing as the Larry Bird leader card. Solid NM/MT 8.0 PSA gradeable card. No dents, no bends, no wax or gum stains, pristine condition but not perfectly centerred. 26 posters: Average condition NM+. Some of these posters have light toning on them. The scan of the 76ers poster, it's high grade. Most of them are NM/MT condition, maybe even NM/MT+ or MINT. No Ultra Pro page included. Will be shipped in toilet paper to preserve fragile high grade condition. They will be in card boxes that are made for trading cards. In this example, the actual cost was $5.95 USPS first class with tracking. I pocketed $1.05 extra off shipping. I would not charge $19 shipping for something that was shipped for $6-$8, I do not price gouge shipping significantly like that. At worst, I would charge $10 for something that cost $7 to ship.
