Description: American elderberry cuttings. These elderberry cuttings are from American elderberry bushes I planted a couple years ago. This is a very prolific bush and has grown from a couple sticks, into a hedge that is 25' long, 10' tall and about 10' wide. It produces a ton of berries that can be used to make syrups, cold/flu elixirs and jellies. You will have to be on it, when the berries ripen, you need to get out to harvest quickly.... Birds love the berries too. Elderberries are rich in antioxidants and vitamins. They could help with inflammation, stress, and heart health, also could help prevent and/or help with cold/flu symptoms. The berries can be harvested and frozen, to allow time to process them. Everything seems to ripen all at the same time, so it makes it hard to get to process all the fruits and veggies, so I tend to freeze them and process them in the winter. All cuttings are done at the time of an order, there is no stock laying around waiting on someone to order. When you order, I go out and cut them, pack them, and ship them out to you... Usually the same day, unless the weather is terrible. These are perennials. Everything I grow is free of chemicals, my farm is not certified organic, but I only use natural fertilizers from my animals and never spray insecticide or herbicide on anything.
