95-Year-Old Modern Library 60.3 Philosophy of Spinoza

The uncommon 5 binding with a grapevine on the spine was only used for two or three years.This used Modern Library book has bumped corners, legible gilt, and some fading along the spine top corresponding to a spine top chip as well as a short bank of fading along the top edge. My impression is the jacket is 1/16” or so shorter than the book. Fanning the pages, I noted no writing or marginalia but a Bloomingdale's stamp on the title page, no offensive odor and the binding has no separation. The jacket has edgewear along the top edge and particularly at the spine ends, edge wear, and wear through along the flap folds that were repaired with Brodart Document Repair Tape. On eBay (search: "Modern Library" "Spinoza”) there are none with this jacket, just a later jacket flexi, like ABE.
