Description: A beautiful Shelley "Pink Scroll" 11502 Queen Anne shape demitasse cup & saucer. C.1926. Pattern No 11502 Pink Scroll: Pink flowers and green enclosed by black scrolls and tendrils on a white ground. Pink and blue border. Pink edges. Entered into pattern book during or after 1926. The shape of this cup and saucer is the Queen Anne shape which was produced between 1926 and 1960. The back stamp is the 1925-1940 green cartouche mark. Dimensions: demitasse cup base 32mm (1.5 inches) / distance across top of cup 59mm (2.3 inches) / height of cup 60mm (2.3 inches) / saucer 112mm (4.4 inches). Condition: Both pieces are in very good clean condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, rubbing or scratching. A little faint light staining to the cup interior base (see overhead photo) is mentioned for complete accuracy. All paintwork / enamelling is in very good order with no fading to the pieces. Both pieces have a very good "ping" to them when lightly tapped.
