AGM Battery Distribution Block Compatible With PowerPole PP15-PP45 4-Output

Description: Distribution Block housing for Anderson Powerpole connectors, this fits the PP15-PP45 (15a-45a) #1327 housings. Make a 7/8Ah battery into a portable power pack with fuse! This allows using four pairs of connectors to make a distribution block that can be attached to the top of an AGM battery for a portable power source. The output of the battery to the connectors is fused and all you need to make the fuse holder is two 1/4" female crimp terminals that you lay into the fuse holder position and install the cover, allowing the use of ATC automotive type fuses. The slots in the fuse holder allows use of up to 12awg insulated wire. The four positions have pin holes to keep them in place, can be pinned in place with half inch long 3/32" roll pins or just use pieces of 12awg solid copper wire to make pins to keep them in place. The connectors can be daisy chained with wire, or use the PCB contacts to make a bus bar arrangement, that decision is up to you how to wire it, but there is many possibilities. Once the box is installed onto the top of the battery, using double sided tape or whatever you choose, the battery terminals are enclosed and safe from shorts, making a fully enclosed and portable power source. Revised... Thanks to some great feedback on these i have made some changes. The fuseholder part has now been redesigned allowing for better engagement with the fuses due to some variation in the fuse contact lengths. The pin holes for the connectors have been redesigned with a counterbore allowing you to easily pull the pins and remove the connectors if needed. In the pictures you can see how i did it, i just put in a piece of 12awg bare copper wire and then snipped it with my flush cutters, the pin will sit just below the cover and can't fall out, but can be grabbed with a needle nose pliers and removed for future connector replacement if needed.
