Description: ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, One-sheet Playbill type program, 10/07/57, Philharmonic Auditorium, Los Angeles, CA. The musical opened in NYC on 05/16/46 and ran for 1147 performances. It was revived in 1966 and 1999. This Los Angeles Civic Light Opera production ran for 5 weeks beginning 10/07/57. It had previously played San Francisco for 5 weeks beginning in August. The production was moved to NBC's Burbank Studio and televised live on the evening of 11/27/57. The cast includes Mary Martin, John Raitt, Reta Shaw, Donald Burr, Zachary Charles, William O'Neal, Norman Edwards, Susan Luckey, Stuart Hodes, John Eldredge, Robert Nash, Barry Gordon, Janaire Skidmore, Pat Morrow, Dennis Bonilla, Thomas Bonilla, Earl MacVeigh and Bruce Yarnell. Music and lyrics by Irving Berlin and book by Herbert and Dorothy Fields (based on the life of Annie Oakley). Directed by Vincent J. Donehue and choreographed by Ernest Flatt. Produced by Edwin Lester in association with Richard Halliday. One-sheet and one-fold programs were sometimes called preview sheets or balcony programs. The program is complete. Condition is near excellent with minor wear including slight yellowing and a horizontal fold.
