Description: There are 2 sets available of these lovely, classic Blue Onion patterned Meissen bowls.One set are 6.5" wide the others are 7" wide, all four have a 1.5" depth. The earlier set, I put it circa 1895. It's an early Ersnt Teichert mark, for Colln-Meissen. The other marks - the star & 'MEISSEN' are a tad later, putting them in the first third of the 20th century, circa 1920. As you can see in the photos, there are a couple of old (rather charming, hand-painted) repairs on one of the bowls from the earlier set, & a couple of small chips - both old, glazed over - on the larger, younger set.
