It has been gently hand polished and ultrasonic cleaned in a mild dish soap, and it has nice shine, and is very clean. It is straight, not bent out of shape, pin is tight and secure, with no major issues at all. It is hallmarked on the back 9 375 (gold purity), along with the UK standard shield pictomark for the assay office in Chester and the letter Q date code for 1916. It is maker signed A&C, mark for listed British goldsmith, Thomas Able & Walter James Charnell of Birmingham. Stone was tested with a Gemlogis Ciel tester and did not register as precious.
