The tassel most likely was a part of a woman’s skirt. The embroidery of the tassel executed in fine satin stitches using bright multicolored threads.The threads look like they wrapped with real gold!!!Extremely finely worked piece- just look at the pictures!The beautiful tassel measures 34” (86.4 cm) long x 6.5” (16.25 cm) wide +5” (12.7 cm) black fringes.CONDITION: GOOD ANTIQUE CONDITION OVERALL; SEVERAL SPOTS WITH STAINING (MOSTLY AT THE TOP).
