Description: From the estate of an antiques dealer who dealt in architectural salvage. The remains of their white paper label still on one piece.I’ll leave the cleaning to you! Great patina. From one of the library doors of a great old Edwardian era manse. Some of the doors were screened and opened to the garden, so this might be for an old style screen door.Edwardian Ceramic Door Knob Set With Latch And Escutcheon plates. The handle is a heavy, solid brown ceramic? Diameter about 1 3/4 inches. It is in nice condition. The white marks you see in the photos are reflections from my lights, because the handle has some gloss to it.With brass latch and escutcheon plates. and a sort of brass button to slide? for a lock. Each plate is 4 inches tall. One plate has somewhat of a BEND to it. See pictures. Should be ok when it is screwed to door but may need some flattening.Has typical wear and marks from age but overall quite good. Remnants of white paper label from the antique dealerSome light remnants of old paint around the edge.Heavy and solid for its size, great quality. Ki dr
