Description: This is an original hand colored lithograph in a period frame. It is faded with some staining and damage. Most notable is it has a small tear in right side and letters in text are faded. The frame is in fair shape, it has lots of dings and scratches. It appears to be a period frame behind bubble glass. The frame is approximately 16.5” x 12.5” Lady of the Lake THE BOAT HAD TOUCHED THIS SILVER STRAND, / JUST AS THE HUNTER LEFT HIS STAND, / AND STOOD CONCEALED AMID THE BRAKE, / TO VIEW THIS LADY OF THE LAKE. Small: 12.8 x 8.2 in., 32.6 x 20.8 cm. (plate and text). Black and white. Publisher: C.&I., 1870. A literary scene based on a passage from Sir Walter Scott's Lady of the Lake.
