Description: A stunning antique floral patchwork quilt, completely handmade, with a variation of the stylized peony (or tulip) design. It is particularly long which allows for a flap at the top to cover your pillows (see photos). The red fabric for the central squares is a bit different in the pillow flap section of the quilt. The triangles and edge trim are a pretty chartreuse color. It is quilted with white thread and the reverse is a light ecru. It is very lightweight. It is generously-sized - the photos that were taken on a double bed. The condition is excellent for an antique quilt. We find some light fraying in the few red fabric squares of the pillow flap and a few faint spots (see last 4 photos). The other red squares are in excellent condition as is the green edge trim. Hand laundered and pressed. 81" wide x 103" long
