The heavily chip and incised hand carved and hand painted pyrography design features beautiful grapes and vines. Dark original finish. Original brass hardware. On the back of the box it states ANNA. 16 inches by 12 inches and 4 5/8 inches tall. Does have some use marks and the hooks no longer have their brackets to rest in. Nice and clean inside. This is a rare find, unlike most Flemish Art boxes are usually only glove or small jewelry box sizes. Rich patina and beautiful American Folk Art at its finest.
