Description: Nice antique German Erzgebirge toy wooly sheep in great all original patina & condition. The stick-leg sheep is all original and everything is in excellent condition. The sheep's body is covered in white wool and there are painted facial features. The red paper neck band is also original. This is not marked Germany but I'm sure that is where this was made in the early 1900's. The legs are in solid condition and it free stands quite well. The wooly sheep is about 2 1/4" x 2 1/2" high. This is a really nice early example, you will not be disappointed. I have a large collection of early German Putz pieces and will be listing many in the near future.Please check my eBay store frequently.
