Description: This item is a fantastic antique wooden box with a lid. It has an art deco style, with herringbone details and rounded top edges. I'm estimating it to be from the 1930's to the early 1950's and is likely hand crafted from wooden scraps, with no makers marks. It has a well constructed design, with several different woods used. The box is 5.5" long, by 3.5" wide and stands 2" tall. It has been carefully cleaned and polished and has a great aged lustre. The interior of the box also has the original paper insert, which can easily be removed. For it's age the box is in great shape, with only minor sun fading and the only blemish is a tiny nick on the lid, and some minor staining on the handle, as seen in the photos, which doesn't at all detract from how fantastic this box looks!
