Description: We have a lovely Bowl by Royal Winton in England.The backstamp reads GRIMWADE.This backstamp does not have the S and therefore it was produced by the Grimwade Bros.The Grimwade Bros. operated from 1892 until the early 1900s.Later pieces have the S added to Grimwade.This bowl which is shallow at approx. 3 inches in height is hand painted.Measures approx. 10.5 inches wide.In good condition with no chips or cracks, some crazing on bottom.The outside of the hand painted bowl is decorated with hanging grapes and the base background is blue sponge ware.
