Description: This listing is for an antique Arcade Crystal cast iron wall mount coffee grinder. Probably dates to the late 1920's or early 30's during the depression.Grinder was tested and is working. It just needs a little TLC with some adjusting and interior cleaning for optimal performance. The large glass hopper on top was tested under fluorescent lighting to make sure that it is the original and it appears to be original as it fluoresces to a light green (see photo) and has all the typical signs of antique glass such as random bubbles and waves or ripples. Glass is in good useable condition without rim chips, etc. Hopper doesn't have a number on it and the lid is flat without the word Arcade embossed on it, possibly original to this particular model? Wood handle on crank is in great condition without chips to the wood. The original catch cup has been replaced with a 1950's JIF peanut butter glass jar. Spring mechanism to hold catch cup is in good working order.Rubber gasket from the neck of the hopper has hardened and cracked in pieces. You will need to replicate it somehow to stabilize the hopper in the grinder so I am including it for your reference.
