Description: The Gnome-Rhône 14M was a pre-war French air-cooled twin-star 14-cylinder aircraft engine that powered many types of French (and a few German) aircraft during WWII. A minor technical interesting feature of this engine concept is that it was one of the few short-stroke aircraft engines at the time (i.e., the cylinder bore value was greater than the stroke - the L/D ratio was 0.95).This engine was produced by Walter a.s., a factory for automobiles and aircraft engines in Prague, Jinonice, Czechoslovakia under the name Walter 14M Mars between 1937 and 1940.Used for follow French and German airplanes:Breguet 693Gotha Go 244Hanriot NC 530,Hanriot NC 600Henschel Hs 129Messerschmitt Me 323Potez 631Potez 633Potez 637Potez 662Potez 63.11 This is an accessory for a plastic model kit.
