Description: A handmade soap bar made using the cold-processed soap method. These bars have been curing for at least 6 weeks before listing. Curing in a room with an air dehumidifier to ensure the durability and create a long-lasting bar of soap. The objective when formulating any recipe is to produce a well balanced soap that will leave the skin feeling clean and fresh without drying it out. The entirety of this soap is made using Beef Tallow. On it's own, tallow is a very well balanced ingredient, which is why we can make a fantastic bar of soap using only Tallow. Tallow provides excellent benefits for the skin. Aloe Vera harvested from our own yard is added to the hydrosol water which we distill using fragrant rose petals along with a variety of other flowers and herbs, also harvested from our garden. The Idea is to infuse the soap with as many natural benefits for our hair and skin as we are able. We have recently begun to add a small amount of citric acid because we found that it enhanced the natural scent of the fragrance in the hydrosol water. What makes these bars lightly exfoliating and provides that nice texture is the addition of Diatomaceous Earth and Epsom Salt. Great for rubbing off any dead skin. These bars are scented with a Fragrance Oil labeled "April Showers". A cool fresh scent. In conclusion, this soap is incredibly simple, natural and basic, yet it is well balanced. It should leave us feeling clean and fresh without drying out our skin or hair. Each individual bar weighs around 5.5oz. They are big bars, but they fit comfortably in the hand thanks to a beveling of all the edges and corners. Carefully packaged, we try (and mostly achieve) same day shipping.
