Description: Maker: This delightful little tray or trinket dish is by Hungary's flagship china maker Herend. Located in the ancient city of the same name, the factory has been producing exquisite and highly coveted luxury china since 1826. Design: It's in the beautiful floral Herend pattern that replacements.com calls HER73, with a lovely pink and green floral display on fine white porcelain. Marks and age: The blue Herend mark on the back is often mis-identified as a "student" mark. According to the Herend website, student marks do not exist. This mark is actually a trademark used by Herend during the communist years, when the company was owned by the Government of Hungary. That means this trinket dish was produced between 1949 and 1989. Size: The dish is 5 1/2 inches long, 3 5/8 inches wide, 5/8 inch tall and weighs 2.9 ounces. Condition: It's in excellent condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, scratches, stains, discoloration, crazing, wear or repairs. There is a small dark mark inside - it's shown in the photo with the red arrow. Please check all the photos very carefully - they are an important part of the description.
