Description: Interlock Safety Screw TC Contender G1(59) Replace your worn screw with a new BELLM Interlock Safety Screw. A direct replacement that fits easy open Contenders, selector lever on hammer, pivot pin for trigger guard directly above trigger and over a 195K serial number. MADE IN THE USA! New manufacture custom made to our specs from 1018 tool steel for a virtually un breakable replacement screw. Fits TC Contenders G1 with selector lever on hammer. DOES NOT fit original Contenders, (note the difference in the picture with green background Pictured with the interlock and spring which are not included) The original screw was incredibly brittle and I've found a number of original frames where the factory used loc tight compounding the failure rate of this OEM screw. TIPS: If you have never maintained the interlock and spring, be sure to try the old soldering iron trick, I set a soldering iron on the head of screw for a good 10 minutes before attempting to loosen. When re installing, I use a small amount of grease on rotating part screw and spring cavity to hold spring and use small needle nose to align. I don't like to use loc tight on this screw but if you do decide to use something try a tiny amount of black RTV gasket maker. We provide expertise that is backed by service second to none!
