The organic cotton environmental protection fabric produced by Berto Industria Tessila, a century-old Italian textile factory, is used. The deep black and blue color is also dyed with natural dyes. FABRIC The NATURAL INDIGO ECO DENIM weighs in at a light-weight 11.5 oz. and is produced by Berto Industria Tessila in Italy. The denim is crafted from 100% organic cotton, and it's our most sustainable fabric to date, being also dyed with natural indigo , which is extracted from the Indigofera Tinctoria plant sourced from the South of India. The properties of the natural indigo contribute to the vintage-esque hues of the fabric. The waste material accumulated during the production process of the eco denim is reintroduced back into the production cycle as fertilizer. The fabric is GOTS certified and the substances used in the production process are REACH approved.
