Description: Every coin in this beautiful 1958 proof set was graded Proof 69 by NGC. I love that the grades in this high quality set are all perfectly matched. The silver coins, plus the nickel, are all blast white and look the same as the day they were minted. The Lincoln cent is bright red and also looks brand new. Although it presents as fully blast white, I do notice the faintest start of some light toning in the left obverse field of the quarter. This is a very attractive vintage proof set. Only a tiny fraction of 1958 proof coins will grade as high as Proof 69. You could spend years trying to duplicate the quality of this perfectly matched proof set. There are no 1958 coins graded Proof 70; so, this set is the best of the best and the quality cannot be exceeded. I guarantee that you will be very pleased with this magnificent top quality set. The combined total PCGS website price for this proof set is $2170. The individual prices break down as follows: cent = $550, nickel = $200, dime = $130, quarter = $190, and Franklin half = $1100. Similarly, the combined total NGC website price for this proof set is $1885. The individual prices break down as follows: cent = $450, nickel = $110, dime = $175, quarter = $250, and Franklin half = $900.I am a serious collector of all U.S. proofs and am happy to share my duplicates with fellow collectors. Good luck to you all in building your collections. U.S. buyers only please. I do not ship overseas.
