Once roaming the Red Desert of Wyoming, Blue Zeus and his family were rounded up and sent to a holding facility in Colorado. Clare’s relentless efforts ensured his rescue, and today, Blue Zeus roams freely at Skydog Ranch with his herd. Blue Zeus’ journey from the wild to the sanctuary is a story of resilience and family bonds. God Bless the people who CARE and help preserve the wild herds!! I wanted to like this mold, and I love the story of Blue Zeus, but I just haven’t been able to enjoy him. He has beautiful coloring and detail, but he came flawed, with part of his forelock filed through. I should’ve sent him back. I’ve been told its easy to fix, but I just don’t have the energy to do it. The part is solidly on there, otherwise I would’ve sent him back. From a distance, it’s not noticeable, but please look closely at the photos - I don’t want anyone disappointed. He has an ear rub on the left tip, not broken but paint not thick there. Many have commented on the down-turn of quality for Breyer, and it’s sad. This horse has some rough painted areas on his muzzle, like they just didn’t bother to remove dust particles. The other things are just dust! The rough seams on the mane, I am told by people who collect this mold, are normal factory condition. Every thing else about him is very nice. He has a good contrast of color on his head/face whereas some of them are very dark and don’t show detail and the eyes as good. The Mustang Stallion, also known as Fireheart debuted in 2021 as the first model for the Premier Collection. He is sculpted by Rayvin Maddock.
