Description: Up for sale is a fantastic, signed and numbered woodblock print titled, "TIME OUT" by well known and listed artist Carole Sue Lebbin. It is pencil signed by the artist, in the bottom right hand corner. It is also pencil numbered 3/50 in the bottom left hand corner. . Carole Sue Lebbin (Spector) was born in 1948 in Washington, D.C.. She has been creating imaginative works on canvas and paper for many years. She studied at George Washington University, Washington, D.C., the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C., the Tyler School of Art, Rome, Italy and the Carnegie-Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA. Ms. Lebbin has had her art exhibited in many galleries over the years, including, the Orchard Gallery, Bethesda, MD (2009), University of Maryland, College Park, MD (2006), Karen Lynne Gallery, Boca Raton, FL (2006), Gallery 500, Elkins Park, PA (1997), Wenniger Graphics, Boston, MA (1989, 1988), Stone Press Gallery, Seattle, WA (1984) and Dimitrial Gallery, Princeton, NJ (1975) - and many more! Her work is well represented in museums and private collections around the world. The print is on this tissue paper and it is covered in a clear plastic, so I cannot see the border area of the print. The actual print area is approximately 34" x 23". It is mounted in a white mat. The mat is approximately 40" x 30'". There are some stains and dents on the mat - and the corners are bumped and creased. There are also some nicks and chips along the edges. Overall, the print is in Good Condition. It is matted but not framed. There is some light toning on the paper from age, but otherwise it is a fine piece of art! There is also some creasing visible in the paper, particularly in the bottom and top left corners. I cannot see the edges of the paper because of the plastic covering and the mat - but any marks there would be covered up when nicely matted and framed. I don't see any significant condition issues on the actual print area. This very unique print has wonderful yellow, blue, green and white colors. It is a very nice print - an excellent investment and a superb example of this great artist's work - a perfect piece for any collector! Other dings here and there.
