Description: This is a vintage antique sample of barbed wire fencing. This sample features an unknown patentee and maker. This wire is called "Corrugated Barbless Ribbon 1/4" Wide & Shallow Corrugations" by collectors. (ref Hagemeier No Ref. Found). This wire features a single 1/4" wide ribbon wire. Wire has shallow corrugation. Wire sample is 18" in length. Wire sample shows light to moderate pitting. There are no kinks, breaks, welds, bends, repairs or off odors. Last photo shows this wire in comparison to a shallow corrugated 5/16" width ribbon.
