Description: Used in first class from the outset on board Aquitania from the time of her maiden voyage in May, 1914, this pattern was also used in first class on Lusitania and Mauretania. Examples of this pattern were recovered from Lusitania in 1982 and a single photo exists of the pattern in use in her dining room. It is often referred to as the “spider web” pattern. Made by Wedgwood. Measures about 9″ x 7″ with crazing.
