Cute Polyester Fleece Dog Coat for Dachshunds - Bichons - Terriers

Description: These coats are designed to fit a miniature dachshunds's unique shape but they fit other breeds (Jack Russell & other terriers, large Chihuahuas, Bichons, Maltese) as well. I began making dog coats because I could not find anything ready-made to fit my own dachsies. Although initially the coats were designed for a dachshunds's unique shape I eventually began crafting them for other breeds as well. This is my 8th year offering them on eBay. *My models all wear their own coats* These coats pop over the head like a turtleneck and secure with velcro under the chest. The collar is roomy enough to slip a leash in and attach it, or just put a harness over the fleece ~ they are meant to fit snugly. Due to the 2-way stretch in the fabric they will adjust to each dog's individual shape. This coat measures 14" along the back from collar to base of tail; it will fit a dog with a chest circumference of 17-19". Please measure your pup carefully. Machine wash warm or cold like any polar fleece item; be sure to secure the velcro before laundering. They dry quickly laid flat or can be tossed in a medium dryer for 10-15 minutes Coats for dogs with 10,12, and 14" backs are listed separately.
