Description: This listing is for a set of 5 DC Comics reference/history books that have been published throughout the years. They are as follows: DC Comics Sixty Years of the World's Favorite Comic Book Heroes by Les Daniels. This is a hardcover book and was published in 1995. The book is in good condition -there are no rips or tears to the dust jacket and the pages are all intact. The pages show some signs of aging as in not a crisp white. DC Comics Year by Year A Visual Chronicle which was published in 2010 as part of the 75th anniversary of DC Comics by DK Publishing. This also comes with 2 collectible prints by Ryan Sook. One print is of the cover art and one print is of Batman. The original slipcase is free of damage. DC Comics Covergirls which was published in 2007 and features all the covers that featured the DC super heroines throughout the years. The dust jacket is free of rips and tears. There are normal signs of aging on the dust jacket (NOTE-the top of the dust jacket showing the golden age Wonder Woman is from the original Adam Hughes cover - that is not aging of the dust jacket)The DC Comics Encyclopedia by DK -first edition published in 2004 featuring a cover by Alex Ross. There is small tear on the front of the dust jacket just above the DK in the top left of the cover. Normal signs of aging otherwise.The DC Comics Encyclopedia Updated and Expanded Edition by DK -first edition published in 2008 featuring a cover by Alex Ross. The dust jacket is creased/bent on the back left cover but no rips or tears. Normal signs of aging otherwise. These books retailed for $40-50 each when first published.
