This drop zone sand was collected by a veteran paratrooper of the 82nd Airborne Division during All American Week on Thursday, 29 September 2022. Sicily DZ is one of the main training drop zones on Fort Bragg and holds a special place in the hearts of the untold numbers of paratroopers that have landed there over the decades. The solid glass jar measures 4.25"h x 2.5"w x 2.5"l and has a brushed metal screw cap to keep your Sicily DZ sand safe for years to come. There is a label on the front of the jar which reads, "Genuine Sand from Sicily DZ, Fort Bragg, NC. Collected 2022". See photos of collection point and map for reference.
