That’s all for now, Mary Today, the listing is an English, Antique, Georgian, Mechanical Candle Snuffer/Scissors in Steel, circa 1830. This is a Fine quality piece. Modern technology of its time, as you open the scissors it snuffs and cuts the wick. The snuffer stands on three legs, made completely of Steel and Iron with a riveted pinned hinge. The snuffer is stamped with a crown and the partial word "warranted". The steel has a wonderful dark patina and very tactile to the touch, to hold and to handle. Length is just under 6 3/4". Still overall wonderful condition and still working with a smooth mechanism. Please look at all the pictures to determine the condition and your level of interest.
