Description: I imported a single leaf of the exotic rare Dracaena masoniana snake plant in 2017 and it's grown into 10 leaves after 5 years, with average measure of 24"X 5". I divided and repotted the plant this summer and decided to put some leaves on sale. The listed price is for the best quality single leaf. Please reach out before purchase, discounts will be offered for order of single/multiple leaves depending on their sizes and qualities. First come first serve, I can NOT guarantee the best quality leaf is always available. Due to the nature of the item on sale, NO return will be accepted for live plant. Description: Dracaena masoniana, synonym Sansevieria masoniana, is a species of Dracaena native to Africa and originally collected in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It was initially known in cultivation under the cultivar name 'Mason Congo'. Commonly grown as a houseplant for its striking foliage, it can survive in bright filtered light or shade and with infrequent watering. Often grown as a single large, stiff leaf in pots, the plant's other common names include "whale fin" or "shark's fin". Caring: Temperature: Native to southern Africa, snake plants are well adapted to conditions similar to those in southern regions of the United States. They may be grown outdoors almost all year in USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map of 10 and warmer, otherwise, they should be grown indoors at least during the cold seasons (winter and early spring). Light: Snake plants prefer bright, indirect light and can even tolerate some direct sunlight. However, they also grow well (albeit more slowly) in shady corners and other low-light areas of the home.Water: Snake plant is drought-resistant, but it is susceptible to overwatering. Soggy soil will cause root rot. Rule of thumb is Only water the plant when soil feels dry. Shipping and handling: The leaf with its root attached will be shipped via USPS or Fedex depends on availability. The root will be wrapped carefully to keep minimal moisture. The charge includes both shipping and handling and is calculated given order's weight and destination zip code. Should there be any damaged items please take clear pictures of damaged item, the box itself and the shipping labels, and contact back within 24 hours of receiving the box.
