Description: This is the only Squier model that was NOT a Fender copy! And Fender copied Squier on this one. When these were introduced everyone was buying them for the necks (great necks!) and building custom '51's and Teles. They are hard to find in original configurations/colors now because of that. They are really fun guitars to play and modify if desired but I have found they make EXCELLENT Players as is! Easy on the back... I have 2 others that I have put a Blender pot in place of the funky 3 way twist switch and it delivers endless possible tonal combinations and quacky Strat stuff as well and the bridge pickup is either single coil or Humbucker. This guitar is AS NEW but it has a Fender Neckplate. No other mods or use showing. HOWEVER it is UNIQUE...It is an '05 that was the last year of the original run and the neck is an original Maple HIGHLY FIGURED FINGERBOARD! The story I got is the factory ran out of 1 piece necks and they made a special run of original 2 piece necks with them having highly figured fingerboards...a beautiful original oddity and I have only seen 1 other original like it. This guitar is almost 20 years old and looks brand new. Will ship in a gig bag and packed well. No returns and I have 100% Feedback so be confident it is what I say and bid with confidence.
