Specifications: NEW, MORE ACCURATE LOAD CELL - We’ve replaced the original load cell with a top-of-line model (used in our HC Series Balances). This scientific gram scale still reads to 0.01g, but gives more accurate and dependable measurements. No scale is shipped until its linearity and repeatability error is measured at less than ±0.03g 10 times in a row at 4 different masses and in 4 different spots on the scale. CALIBRATED, TESTED AND INSPECTED: Every precision balance is calibrated by an expert, then tested for linearity (closeness to true mass, using different masses) and repeatability (showing the same mass every time). Before our laboratory scales leave the factory they are throughly inspected by a trained third party to guarantee no defects. UNIT CONVERSIONS + COUNTING FUNCTION - Easily switch between grams (g), ounces (oz), carats (ct) and pounds (lb). The science scale also features a time-saving counting function. CALIBRATION NOTE: The calibration function can auto-detect any calibration weight in multiples of 100g, i.e., 200g, 500g, 1000g, etc., as long as the weight does not exceed the maximum capacity of the electronic balance.
