Description: This is a German, Black Forest mantel clock. I believe the case is walnut but make your own assessments. I’m not sure of the year but maybe from the 1930s or 40s. The clock has an 8 day movement with a Bim bam chime. It is in Ok condition. It chimes when the hands are cycled, but slowly, and ticks when the pendulum swings. This clock probably would have had a glass bezel. It’s a good candidate for restoring. The original pendulum is present and the finish would be easy to save. There is a crack in the trim at the bottom of the clock that could be easily glued. It’s a nice looking antique clock that has allot of potential and it’s being sold low so don’t miss it!
